IKTNH shall hold a tender contest for the delivery of network equipment and software. The municipalities of Alver, Aurland, Austrheim, Austevoll, Fedje, Gulen, Masfjorden, Modalen, Osterøy, Samnanger, Vaksdal and Sveio have established a joint ICT operations company, IKT Nordhordland municipal co-operation (IKTNH). IKTNH has entered into operational cooperation with Etne, Tysnes and Vindafjord. These municipalities have partnered with IKTNH in this tender competition. The objective of this procurement is to establish a future orientated, robust and secure network infrastructure that efficiently supports our needs. We look for systems that ensure a high degree of availability, flexibility and performance for our services, while strengthening our network security and creating better control over connected devices and resources. The procurement shall contribute to reducing operational complexity and personal dependency through standardisation and increased automation. Furthermore, it is important that the systems facilitate a proactive approach to operation, with functionality that supports continual monitoring, risk handling and efficient troubleshooting. The systems shall also see to future needs and development, with support for scalable and modern technologies. The aim is to build an infrastructure that can handle an increasing number of users, units and services. At the same time, the solutions shall meet the requirements for cost efficiency and security for all areas confidentiality, integrity, availability and robustness. This procurement is mainly for: • Edge switches • Core switches • Access points •NAC • Platform for administration, configuration, monitoring and preventive troubleshooting of infrastructure. • Necessary licences The estimated volume can depend on the contracting authority ́s budget situation, activities and other framework factors and must, therefore, to a certain degree be seen as a guideline.
