New Permanent Exhibition at the Norwegian Center for Holocaust and Minority Studies

In the autumn of 2023, the HL Center decided to work towards a new permanent exhibition on the Holocaust. The new permanent exhibition will build upon and enhance the unique national responsibility that the HL Center holds for the dissemination of the history of the Holocaust and related themes. The HL Center has prepared an exhibition brief for the new exhibition. This document defines the overarching goals, principles for the development of the concept and thematic content, as well as the framework for the organisation and implementation of the project. It is intended to serve as the cornerstone for the realisation of the main project. A prequalification process will now be carried out, followed by a tender competition in the form of a competitive dialogue to select the exhibition provider who will collaborate with the centre in realising the new permanent exhibition. The main project is planned to begin in 2026, and the new exhibition is scheduled to open to the public in the autumn of 2028.
