Valle municipality has undertaken the construction of a new cultural centre to strengthen the cultural offering in the municipality. The procurement concerns briefly: Demolition of the existing buildings and the development of a new cultural centre in connection with the existing school and sports hall. In addition there will be some upgrading/alterations to the existing buildings. A new modern water-level heating plant shall also be constructed, which shall supply new buildings in addition to the existing school, sports hall and swimming pool. The Cultural Centre will be well adapted to universal design so that the building is well facilitated for all users. It is desirable that wood is mainly used as building material, in order to get an environmentally good building and a good building to stay in. The content will i.a. be: • On-the-go: changing rooms for a swimming pool, sauna, public wardrobe, storage and new technical room for chlorinated acid installations that are connected to the existing treatment facility. • 1st floor: entrance/foyer, cultural hall, club room, office, guard room, kitchen, toilet and HCWC. • Second floor: Janitor room, loft/storage and two technical rooms.
