This contract concerns the drafting of a business and financial plan for a spin-off company around the frequency comb source-based mode-locked lasers on InP-on-SiN technology (TRL4) of the photonics research group of Ghent University. This contract comprises two phases: Phase1: Mandatory of 12 months. After phase 1, the success prospects of the spin-off will be evaluated. If Phase 1 is assessed positively, the client can proceed to lift the optional part. Optional phase: conditional phase of the other 5 months. The contract includes a firm and a conditional part. The closure relates to the entire contract, but the execution of the conditional part depends on a decision by the contracting authority. After 12 months, the success prospects of the spin-off will be evaluated. In this period mandatory Deliverables 1 to 4 must be delivered, and a comprehensive final report must be delivered at the end of the conditional lot. *** Dit contract betreft het opstellen van een business- en financieel plan voor een spin-off bedrijf rond de frequency comb source-gebaseerde mode-locked lasers op InP-on-SiN technologie (TRL4) van de fotonica onderzoeksgroep van Universiteit Gent. Dit contract omvat twee fasen: Fase1: Verplicht van 12 maanden. Na fase 1 worden de succesvooruitzichten van de spin-off geëvalueerd. Als fase 1 positief beoordeeld wordt, kan de klant overgaan tot het opheffen van het optionele deel. Optionele fase: voorwaardelijke fase van de overige 5 maanden. Het contract bestaat uit een vast en een voorwaardelijk deel. De afsluiting heeft betrekking op het gehele contract, maar de uitvoering van het voorwaardelijke deel is afhankelijk van een beslissing van de aanbestedende dienst. Na 12 maanden worden de succesvooruitzichten van de spin-off geëvalueerd. In deze periode moeten de verplichte Deliverables 1 tot en met 4 worden opgeleverd, en aan het einde van het voorwaardelijke deel moet een uitgebreid eindrapport worden opgeleverd.
