Operation and care of Frognerparken

The aim of this procurement is to contribute to reaching the Agency for Urban Environment ́s social mission to ensure a good quality of life for the citizens of the city by developing and administering parks and facilities. Frognerparken is a national park. The park is Norway's most visited sight. Tourists from home and abroad visit the park year round, it is an arena for major sports and cultural events, and it is also diligently used for flashing sports, picnics and play. Frognerparken is at the same time one of the most important local environment installations for residents nearby. Area Frognerparken includes Frognerparken (with Vigelandsparken), Nordjordet and Frognerbekkdalen. The facilities are located in Frogner and Ullern districts. The work comprises upkeep and operation of parks and public recreation areas in accordance with the desired standard. This includes vegetation care, cleaning, maintenance and operational safety for all sites in the area included in the contract.
