Peer Review of the CBA Study for the Great Sea Interconnector

The scope of this Tender is to provide consultancy services to the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry (MECI), for reviewing the cost-benefit analysis (CBA) study for the Crete-Cyprus electricity interconnection submitted by the promoter of the Great Sea Interconnector (GSI), the Independent Power Transmission Operator of Greece (IPTO). The Contractor will be required to evaluate the impact of the interconnector on the Cyprus energy sector with a specific emphasis on the impact on electricity prices. The final deliverable should include a concise executive summary outlining the key findings of the evaluation in a transparent, understandable and simple format. The main aim of the tender is to review the CBA and provide appropriate suggestions to MECI, that will contribute to the decision of participating in the project.
