Ringerike kommune Enhet for samfunn og næring invites tenderers to a restricted design contest in the project 'Foot and cycle bridge, Petersøya'. The competition area includes two bridge connections; one connection west of Petersøya to Petersøya and one connection from Petersøya to Vesterntangen. The bridge connections shall connect to the existing foot and cycle road network. The paramount objective is to receive concrete solution proposals for how bridge connections and connections to the existing infrastructure can be designed, thus realising a new bridge connection over the river course through Hønefoss. Ringerike municipality would like to use this competition to gain competence from a proficient professional environment who has experience with building bridges. The competition programme is attached to the notice. The programme contains a more detailed description of the competition, including the necessary background information, intentions and terms. Relevant interested parties are asked to familiarise themselves with the competition programme before a decision is made to participate in the competition.
