Pre-Market Engagement - Multilateration (MLAT and WAM)

Isavia ohf. is preparing a Tender for Multilateration (MLAT and WAM) equipment and system components. The international airport in Keflavík is working on implementing A-SMGCS to increase the safety and efficiency of airport operations in all weather conditions. Ground surveillance for A-SMGCS will be surface movement radar (SMR), MLAT, WAM, and ADS-B. Concurrently, Isavia ANS is working on implementing a Remote Tower for Reykjavík Airport. To ensure better surveillance signals at low altitudes at thresholds, the number of stations in the approach (WAM) needs to be increased. We seek a qualified supplier to deliver a fully functional MLAT, WAM, and ADS-B system. The selected supplier will be responsible for providing a comprehensive solution that meets all the specifications and requirements outlined in the tender terms. To ensure that the procurement strategy is best suited to market requirements, we would appreciate a review of the proposed requirements for future tender in Appendix 1. Isavia reserves the right to meet with participants to seek further support and clarification of the submitted responses.
