This is a Prior Information Notice and not a call for competition this notice aims to provide advance information to potential suppliers and encourage early engagement with the forthcoming opportunity. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to procure consultancy services to carry out a review of the Best Practice Guidelines for Resource & Waste Management Plans for Construction & Demolition Projects which were published by the EPA in 2021. Since 2021, there has been significant activity to drive circularity in the construction & demolition sector and the guidelines now need to be updated. The scope of requirements will include drafting updated guidelines that reflect current policy, legislation and any other requirements that are relevant to developing resource & waste management plans for construction & demolition projects. The successful contractors will engage with selected key stakeholders, from industry and public bodies, to gather feedback on the value of the current guidelines and any insights that can support the update of the guidelines. It is anticipated that the work will commence in early Q3 2025 and be completed by year end.’
