Bergen municipality is planning a competition for the procurement of a new contract for the provision of services for data communication and the transport network. A contract is planned to be signed for the procurement of an operational contract based on the Government ́s standard contract, the Operational Agreement, a new system shall be procured for the transport network and data communication, which includes the following main activities and services (the list is not exhaustive): Establishment and operation of communication lines to Bergen municipality ́s locations, including computer centres. Establishment and operation of IP-VPN service, for secure transport of data between the municipality ́s locations and data centres. Internet access from a computer centre and from locations as needed. Establishment and operation of SD-WAN, or equivalent service(s), at the top of the IP VPN service. The accompanying security functionality to ensure digital security for the above mentioned services. Any additional services. Bergen municipality will be responsible for the operation of the local network in the locations. The contract ́s extent is therefore for the above mentioned services through fixed and wireless communication lines up to the municipality ́s LAN core switch located at each individual location. The services shall support the municipality ́s ambitions for the further development of the current network by facilitating the use of new technology, such as SD-WAN. The agreement shall contribute to the municipality receiving a modern, scalable and secure computer network that safeguards current and future needs during the entire contract period. The new contract shall replace the current contract with Telia Norway AS, which expires. Cooperation surfaces and documentation shall be in Norwegian. All operational meetings and cooperation meetings will as a main rule be held in Norwegian. The aim of this notice is to get input from relevant market participants for Bergen municipality ́s work with competition preparations.
