Procurement of alpine/trail machines for Maskintråkk AS

Meråker municipality owns 97% of Maskintråkk AS, which is the municipality ́s tool for preparing ski tracks in the municipality. Maskintråkk AS has also delivered trample machine services to Meråker Alpinsenter AS for more than 20 years. Maskintråkk AS has several Kässborer/Pisten Bully machines that we are very pleased with. Description of the procurement Maskintråkk AS intends to enter into an agreement with Antra AS, the Norwegian dealer of Kässborer/Pisten Bully. Concretely, a Pisten Bully 400 ParkPro shall be procured. Considerations to the outer environment, HSE in general, driver environment, training, spare parts storage, fuel consumption and the tenderer's service system are important assessment criteria for the company when the procurement shall be made. Economy The value of the procurement is approx. NOK 5 million. Evaluation Considerations to the outer environment, HSE in general, driver environment, training, spare parts storage, fuel consumption and, not least, the tenderer's service system, are important assessment criteria for the company when the procurement shall be made. Decisive arguments in this context can be summarised as follows: 1. Maintenance Antra AS has a service system in Trøndelag. Maskintråkk has its own parts warehouse for wearing parts that have been built up over several years based on historically Kässborer/Pisten Bully. We have also built up knowledge to take simpler services ourselves. 2. Machine operator We use several different drivers who switch between the different machines. By dealing with a machine type, this makes it easier for drivers every day, we do not have in-depth training of drivers when a new machine is procured and we have better use of the machine as regards unnecessary wear/hard or incorrect use. This also provides better safety for the drivers. 3. Additional equipment By having only one type of snow groomer, Maskintråkk becomes more flexible as regards changing equipment between the machines, such as milling, track laying, cutting and belts. 4. Emissions to the outer environment Kässborer/Pisten Bully machines have low emissions to the environment and low diesel consumption.
