Procurement of assistance for mapping the municipal road network 2024-2025

Oslo municipality c/o the Agency for Urban Environment, hereafter called the contracting authority, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for assistance with mapping and planning maintenance of streets and roads. One of the Agency for Urban Environment ́s main areas is infrastructure and transport, and the agency is responsible for traffic safety, development, operation and maintenance of infrastructure for walking, cycling, motorised transport. The infrastructure has a road network of approx. 1,365 km of existing road, street, foot and cycle path. For efficient maintenance of the road network and in order to reduce the existing lag, the Agency for Urban Environment needs a better overview of the road network and its condition. In order to be able to prioritise and plan the maintenance, we also see the need for an overall plan for maintenance of streets and roads. The objective of the procurement is to cover the following need: •Need for an overview of roads and road objects; what, where, how many, and conditions on these. Need for better planning, prioritising and budgeting the maintenance of streets and roads. •A plan is required for how the maintenance lag can be collected. •Requirement for fulfilment of registration of specific road objects in NVDB in accordance with requirements from the road data regulations.
