Procurement of ordinary asylum reception centres in East Finnmark

A prior information notice for the procurement of ordinary asylum reception centres in East Finnmark Directorate of Immigration (UDI) is responsible for offering accommodation to all who seek asylum in Norway, or who are pending travel due to refusal of their asylum case. See the Immigration Act § 95. UDI plans to procure one ordinary asylum reception centre with approx. 200 places with options, in East Finnmark. It will be possible with a succesive start up in regards of capasity. The procurement will most likely have a geographical limitation, with the requirement that the asylum reception centre is maximum 400 kilometres from the border crossing at Storskog (schengen outer border), within driving distance within Norway's borders. Sør-Varanger municipality is exempt from the competition, so that housing in this municipality cannot be offered. The agreement that shall be procured involves the delivery of both the operational organisation and buildings to an ordinary asylum reception centre.
