Procurement of service contracts for Kantarellenhjemmet and Uranienborghjemmet

Byrådsavdeling for helse has given Oslo kommune c/o the Nursing Home Agency, hereafter called the contracting authority, to procure service provision contracts for Kantarellenhjemmet and Uranienborghjemmet respectively. Based on this, the contracting authority invites tenderers to a negotiated procedure. the akgrunnen for the procurement is a desire for a greater element of private actors in the health and welfare services. This is so that we can contribute to a more and more versatile offer for the inhabitants of Oslo and to develop the quality of the service. In order to meet the future needs, the nursing home sector must think of new ways to organise the service. One of the objectives and expectations of the procurement is that it shall contribute to innovation and new ways of working, which, among other things, shall lead to increased quality of the service and more use of full-time. Assignment sharing, new working hours schemes and the use of technology are areas of innovation that will be emphasised in the competition. Oslo municipality is concerned that this development shall occur through a collaboration between the public, private commercial and private non-profit market.
