Procurement of traffic insurance for daily test marks

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (hereafter called the Contracting Authority) is responsible and executing authority for registering vehicles in Norway. The actual registration, including the registration of day tests, takes place in the Vehicle Register, which is one of the registers in the Contracting Authority ́s computer system Autosys. The system provides good possibilities for inspecting the day test marks. Issuing day tests involves a temporary permit for a specific purpose for vehicles that are subject to registration, but not registered. The insurance shall cover statutory traffic insurances, cf. the Public Roads Act § 16 second section and the Vehicle Liability Act. The contracting authority would like tenders for insurance for day test marks.
