Request for Information On Body Armour for An Garda Síochána Operational and Tactical Units

An Garda Síochána (AGS) seeks to obtain information in relation to proven business and technical solutions, including lessons learned, best practices and recommendations that will assist AGS in identifying its requirements for PPE (ballistic and knife protection) for current operations and up to 10 years from initial orders. AGS is completing a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit information in preparation for a Tender under the Award of Contracts Defence and Security Regulations 2012 (S.I.62 of 2012) and more specifically under the derogation set out in Regulation 9(b) of the Regulations. Interested suppliers are invited to review and respond to the request for information published as a pre-market consultation (PMC) on https://www.eTenders.gov.ie.
