THE SUBJECT-MATTER OF THE PROCUREMENT As part of the Regional Teachers Initiative for Africa RTIA, the Finnish National Agency for Education is preparing a procurement for technical assistance in the field of teacher governance and development in Liberia. Country Action Plan of Liberia will require implementation of three technical areas. The Supplier can send an offer for one or several technical areas. The implementation of the technical areas will include organizing technical and validation workshops together with the Ministry of Education of Liberia. The procurement will divide into three technical areas (TA), which are: 1. Pre-service teacher training curricular reform to enhance literacy, gender-responsive pedagogy, green skills, digital literacy, and inclusive education 2. Capacity development of Rural Teacher Training Institutes (RTTIs) 3. Policy Framework for school leaders and teachers’ recruitment and deployment GENERAL INFO Please note that this is a prior information notice (hereinafter referred to as 'the notice') and that this notice is not a call for tenders. The information provided in this notice is preliminary and may change as preparation progresses. The aim is to publish the final call for tenders in June 2025. There are all together 11 workshops with a total budget of 70 000 EUR (TA1: 6 workshops; TA2: 3 workshops; TA3: 2 workshops). Any other aspects linked to the operating environment Finnish National Agency for Education should take into consideration in the planning of the procurement? MARKET DIALOQUE The contracting authority reserves the opportunity to send a draft of the call for tenders to potential suppliers for comments. In a so-called market dialogue, potential suppliers will be given the opportunity to comment on the draft material in writing.
