RFI - Procurement of Data centre backup and recovery

This is a request for information on future procurement of a data centre backup. Innlandet county shall procure a system for Backup of a computer centre. History: Ibm Storage Protect was implemented in 2007. Maintenance contracts have been with different suppliers, most recently Embriq AS from 2024.Need: Replacement of old SAN shelves, increased storage capacity, at least two geographical locations. O365: Handled with Veritas Alta SaaS Protection, contract with Atea AS. Vision Functionality: Backup/recovery with security using KI, extendable hardware, and software that supports VMware.Options: Backup of O365, Azure, AWS, and new features such as backing up private Teams channels and self-service for M365. Locations: On-prem at Lillehammer and Hamar, with option for a third location in the cloud. Integration: With warning systems such as PRTG/Elastic. Planned Procurement hardware and software: To at least two locations. Software features: Automatic updating, locked copies, security scanning and testing of backup data. Replication: To several locations. Future backup: O365, Azure, AWS. Recommendation: To safeguard the current backup data.
