We are interested in the operator ́s and bus suppliers ́ view of what is available from used and new bus materials with gas or diesel drive lines in the market, in connection with the bus tender in Trondheim, with planned start-up from 2029. In the Trondheim tender there is uncertainty around access to electricity from the start-up, and in this connection we assess alternatives. In its early phase, AtB considers the following solutions as interesting: Short tender for 3-5 years, with the possibility of bus material on gas and/or diesel phasing in emission free material during a longer contract period. Split up to 10 and up to 15 years respectively, split up the current tender packages in one pure electric package and one package that allows for bus material on gas and/or diesel Fully electric buses from day 1 The deadline for responses is 28 May 2025.
