RFI Video based traffic registration equipment.

In 2025, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration wants to test different traffic registration equipment with video sensors. The work will be input for a long-term implementation strategy for such traffic registration equipment in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration and the budget for the possible procurement of such equipment in 2025/2026. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration hereby invites tenderers to participate in a market survey for this work. We would like to map what systems and delivery models are currently in the relevant market through a dialogue with the market. The market dialogue shall contribute to increased insight into current technology, trends and innovation potential. The dialogue will also give a better understanding of relevant suppliers and their interest in the market. This RFI concerns both stationary and mobile systems for traffic registration equipment with video. Suppliers of stationary and/or mobile systems for traffic registration equipment with video can therefore participate. The RFI is in no way binding for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration or participating respondents. It is not part of a coming procurement process, nor is it to be considered as a notice for the procurement. Participation in a coming procurement process does not conditional on responding to this RFI. Responses to this RFI will not obligate either the tenderer or the Norwegian Public Roads Administration in relation to a later procurement.
