Security guard services for IGF 2025

Norway will be the host country for a stand-alone International UN conference in June 2025, where participation is expected from a number of ministers and top managers from around the world. The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) will be the largest UN meeting ever held in Norway. The aim of this procurement is to facilitate to cover the Ministry ́s need for security services for the event. The conference runs over five days and gathers 3000-4000 physical participants and equivalent number of digital participants from all over the world. The event will be led by the Ministry of Digitisation and Management (DFD) and it is the joint project between DFD, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FOREIGN MINISTRY), the Ministry of Industry and Fisheries (NFD) and the Ministry of Culture and Equality (KUD). The estimated value of the procurement is from NOK 5,000,000 excluding VAT to NOK 12,000,000 excluding VAT. The estimated value is not binding for the contracting authority. Of the estimated value, the options are estimated to NOK 4,000,000 excluding VAT. The estimated value is not binding for the contracting authority. Additional work can be required beyond what is stated in the assignment description in annex 1. This can, for example, apply to a higher volume of security guard services and a longer period of time for rigging. The contracting authority is, thus, subject to an option for additional procurements within the financial framework as needed. See annex 1 of the contract for further details on the delivery.
