SETTING UP THE JUST TRANSITION PARTICIPATORY PROCESSES IN CZECHIA (2025CE160AT008)

The general objective of this service contract is to contribute to the dissemination of good practices in order to assist Member States to strengthen the capacity of the relevant partners referred to in Article 8(1) and their umbrella organisations, in line with Article 35 of the Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 (Common Provision Regulation) The specific objective of this service contract is to assist national authorities in improving their capacity to design, develop and implement specific instruments for Just Transition Mechanism. The deliverables are expected to result in the support the public participation in JTM projects and processes, to ensure an inclusive, transparent, and responsive transition process for affected communities. The tasks and deliverables of the contract and the associated outcomes should contribute towards setting up the JTF participatory processes in Czechia and should directly contribute to alleviating the impact of the transition. The main objective of the project is to enhance participatory engagement and develop a robust participatory strategy under the Operational Programme for a Just Transition (OP ST) that will be used for the preparation of the next Just Transtition Programme. The activities aim to engage stakeholders, gather actionable insights, and design strategies that enable effective communication, stakeholder mapping, and local engagement mechanisms. The project outcomes will result in an actionable participatory framework tailored to the needs of the OP ST, fostering inclusive engagement and effective communication channels for all stakeholders. This will enhance regional capacities to implement transformative strategies and achieve long-term development goals under the Just Transition Mechanism.
