Currently the international accelerator facility FAIR, one of the largest research projects worldwide, is being built in Darmstadt, Germany. At FAIR, matter that usually only exists in the depth of space will be produced in a lab for research. Scientists from all over the world will be able to gain new insights into the structure of matter and the evolution of the universe from the Big Bang to the present. For the tender - SFRS Power Converter PCBs for FAIR - 13 different printed circuit board modules are to be manufactured. A total amount of at least 2900 assembled PCBs. These modules build up the control and user interface for all high precision power converters of S-FRS machine at FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research).
