Support for the implementation of Recommendation (EU) 2024/779 on Secure and Resilient Submarine Cable Infrastructures

This support contract has the objective to support the implementation of Commission Recommendation (EU) 2024/779 on Secure and Resilient Submarine Cable Infrastructures and related deliverables, in particular in support to the tasks of the Submarine Cable Infrastructure Expert Group as set out in Recital 15 of the Recommendation, and also by reference to the on recommendations on Submarine Cable Infrastructures under the 2024 Nevers Report. The reason for purchasing is the high level of specialisation required, especially as regards the economic and technological aspects of submarine cable infrastructures, as well as the necessity to swiftly deliver on this important topic relying on limited internal resources.
