The procurement concerns an electronic screening system for carrying out background checks in accordance with Exfin ́s KYC routine. The systems provide relevant information on companies and individuals, including information on ownership, listing on sanctions lists, negative media reviews and criminal conditions. This information is central for compliance with applicable regulations, as well as internal policies and policies in Exffin. The procurement ́s value is estimated to BE EUR 25,000 - NOK 75,000,000 excluding VAT per annum. The volume is an estimate and is not binding for the contracting authority. See the procurement documents for further information. This procurement is considered to have an immaterial impact on climate and environment, cf. the Regulations §7-9, fifth paragraph. The justification for this is that the procurement concerns digital services with the provision of data and information so that Eksfin can check backgrounds of companies and individuals. It is considered that the procurement of such a system in total will have a low environmental impact, where the contracting authority is unable to influence climate and environmental impact, as the requirements and criteria that are directed at these elements will not have sufficient connection to the delivery.
