General description: TenneT has an insurance program (“Offshore Liability Policy”) in place covering third party liabilities of TenneT Offshore GmbH & TenneT TSO B.V. and its subsidiaries against personal injury, property damage and financial loss. TenneT intends to procure insurance cover personal injury, property damage and financial loss with a new Offshore Liability Policy (policy inception date 1st July 2025). The GL Offshore Program (General Liability Offshore) includes: - Offshore third party liability insurance for all current (in operation phase) and future German and Dutch offshore grid connection systems as currently insured in the Offshore Liability policy - Liability from operating NorNed, Cobra, NordLink and possible future interconnectors are insured under the Onshore liability insurance. The insurance program shall cover a capacity of EUR 250m and will be structured in a Primary policy (40 Mio. EUR per loss and 80 Mio. EUR in the annual aggregate) and an 1. additional Excess layer (30 Mio. EUR) and an 2. additional Excess layer (40 Mio. EUR). In addition there is one extra layer to cover the property risk (insured limit up to EUR 100m per claim and in the annual aggregate) according to § 17g EnWG. Accordingly the tender will be set up in 2 lots, which will follow each other: Lot 1: Primary lead insurer + Property Lead insurer (Mercell tender T109513) Lot 2: Primary to-follow insurer + Property to-follow insurer + 1. Excess lead insurer + 2. Excess lead insurer + 1. Excess to-follow insurer + 2.Excess to-follow insurer (Mercell tender T109515) Access to tender / NDA In order to protect the confidentiality of the information provided by the client in the tender documents, it is mandatory to conclude a confidentiality Agreement as per "NDA" document provided for download via Mercell. After registering for the tender at Mercell Source-to-Contract, you will find all tender documents for the call for competition phase as well as the offer phase under "Questionnaires", section "Call for Competition", question 1.1. "General information - tender documents - lots". The bidder can not deduce eligibility for participation only from signing and submitting the NDA. TenneT will only accept tenderers who successfully qualify during the call for competition phase to participate in the offer phase. The application for the call for competition must be submitted in due time and no later than by 29.11.2024 at 12:00 CET via the e-Award platform Mercell Source-to-Contract. Individual extensions of time will not be granted. Please start your upload process early enough. Submission of the request to participate (applications) by Email, mail or fax are not permitted. A violation of this requirement will lead to disqualification of the applicant and exclusion from the tender process. The Questionnaire for the call for competition phase itself can only be conducted after providing the NDA and registering for this tender.
