Upgrade of our existing Indirect Calorimetry System PhenoMaster – TSE Systems

1. General Technical Requirements - Isotope Detection Capability: The gas analyzers must be specifically designed for the detection of 13/12C CO2 isotopes in our current indirect calorimetry system (PhenoMaster – TSE Systems). - Quantity Required: we need a total of four 12/13C-CO2- gas analyzers. - Technical Data: The gas analyzer must have a detection range from 0 to 50ppm with a resolution of 1ppm. - Calibration Support: The sensor must come complete with a connection set for gas calibration procedures, for example: tubing connectors, flow reduction valve, T-pieces, hose clips, and tubing etc. 2. Control-unit & software - The new software must be suitable for the measurements of 12/13C-CO2 concentrations and compatible with the newest Windows requirements and applicable for older Windows versions, for example Windows 10 and 11 - All entries and definitions must be saved within the corresponding experiment file. This allows proper long-term data storage and backup. - Data must be viewed in table format and be exported as .csv-file 3. Installation, introduction, and initial training on-site - Complete gas-sensors and software installation must be included - On-site technical training for four people of our team members in both German and English must be provided by the supplier just after the installation is finished. - On-site technical training should be scheduled accordingly to our time availability - Proficient technical experts must be able to provide on-site dedicated support in according to our requirements. 4. Customer Technical Assistance and Repair Service - Customer technical assistance in German and English either on-site or remotely must be made available by the supplier - Ensuring timely technical support availability, with telephone assistance provided within a maximum of 24 hours, and onsite support under 72 hours - Availability to remote assistance during our standard working hours at least from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm is required. - Telephone technical support should be also available on weekdays (MEZ / MESZ) - Ensuring efficient on-site repair services within a 24-hour timeframe must be possible except in the event of waiting times due to spare parts delivery. 5. Warranty - Warranty, including full service and maintenance for a period of 24 months, must be included in the order. During this timeframe, the supplier must commit to covering all costs associated with repairs and services without additional costs covered by the customer. - Any materials, including components of the system, that materials that naturally wear out or degrade over time that may need replacement due to regular use will be covered within the 24 months warranty provided by the supplier. - Additionally, the warranty must include free of cost updates to the system's software during the warranty period. - At least one service session must be provided within the warranty duration, unless specified otherwise by the manufacturer in the first 24 months or required by law. - The warranty, service, and maintenance period must start right after the successful commissioning and acceptance of the system. - The manufacturer must offer a warranty prolongation contract on annual basis maintaining the same conditions as the warranty period and, maintenance services which must include one service visit and minimum 25% discount on spare parts. 6. Delivery and Payment - The delivery condition DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) according to the International Commercial Terms (Incoterms) must be agreed. The time client does not incur any costs for all deliveries and assemblies. - Partial deliveries may only be made in consultation with the client. The exact delivery date is to be agreed with the client. No assistants or auxiliary services will be made available to the contractor for the performance of these services. - The device must be delivered by the contractor to the room specified by the client and unpacked there, fully assembled, and set up ready for operation according to the installation plan. The packaging material must be disposed by the contractor. - The instruction and demonstration must be in German and English. Written documents and safety data sheets must be supplied in German and English and must be up to date with current legislation. Technical manual in the following languages: German and English. Place of delivery: Helmholtz Zentrum München Institute of Experimental Genetics – German Mouse Clinic* Building 3514, 1st Floor Ingolstädter Landstr. 1 85764 Oberschleißheim-Neuherberg * The exactly place of delivery is located inside the German Mouse Clinic Animal Facility, first floor. - Delivery must be effected within the end of November 2024. In the event that delivery, installation, training, acceptance and invoicing cannot take place in 2024, following provisions shall apply: (1) An invoice stating the order number shall be issued for 100 percent of the total price of the order. (2) If the payment date is before the delivery date/performance date, the supplier shall provide a directly enforceable advance payment bank guarantee with unlimited validity (form 423) for the amount of the advance payment and hand it over to the principal/buyer. This guarantee shall be returned after acceptance of the delivery and/or service. (3) In the event that the final delivery takes place after a later point in time than the payment, the warranty claims of the principal/buyer for defects shall only commence at the time of acceptance after final delivery. The offer must include a product data sheet or comparable and the earliest possible delivery date must be stated.
