Veterinary duty services

This procurement is for the provision of veterinary duty services in duty district Holt (Åmli, Vegårshei, Tvedestrand, Risør, Gjerstad) and in the duty district Nedenes (Lillesand, Birkenes, Grimstad, Froland, Arendal). In order to cover the need for veterinary surgeons in the duty scheme, a minimum of 10, a maximum of 15 contracts will be signed in this competition. There are 15 tenderers in the current agreement. Further details on the number of contracts entered into and the requirements for cooperation between the veterinary surgeons are described in Part 2 Contract with annexes, Annex 2 Requirement Specifications, point 6. From the contracting authority ́s side, a duty manager can be appointed who will have overall responsibility for the duty scheme. If there are no tender offers from ten qualified tenderers, a supplementary competition will be held in the contract period. The same can happen if some contracts are terminated during the contract period and/or if the scheme with several veterinary surgeons is expanded.
