Youthpass Reflection Tool

Youthpass is the recognition tool of the Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps programmes and it is conceptually and technically developed by the SALTO Training & Cooperation Resource Centre on behalf of the European Commission. Youthpass serves as a certificate that confirms the participation in the programmes and the certificate has an additional self-assessment part where the learning outcomes of the participants could be documented. The Youthpass concept, in addition to the certificate, includes an educational approach that is implemented throughout the project and that is based on self-reflection (of the participants) on their experience. Outcomes of such self-reflection forms the basis of the self-assessment part of the issued certificates. One of the needs identified for quality implementation of Youthpass is a technical feature (Youthpass Reflection Tool) to support reflection and self-assessment. The Youthpass Reflection Tool should help the learners in the EU youth programmes to carry out and document their reflection before, during and at the end of the projects that they participate in and help them write up their self-assessment which will be included in the Youthpass certificate. It should also provide a support tool for project leaders and facilitators (project admins) to help shape their participants" reflection according to the topics and other specificities of their projects. The tender covers the technical and content-related development of the Youthpass Reflection Tool either as a self-standing application or a web-based solution.
