The Data Priority Council shall give advice and guidance to the government on what data from the public sector should be prioritised for further use. The council ́s recommendations shall be submitted in the form of a report with a knowledge basis. The data priority council shall make adaptations of the guideline in the benefit-cost assessment of the National Basic Data. Adapted guidelines shall be used in assessments of concrete datasets from external public actors. In this work, Digdir needs help from an external actor.
