Modernization of the backup infrastructure

Subproject 1: Backup Storage (Hardware) Provision of a highly available, high- performance, scalable, and energy-efficient storage infrastructure for redundant, efficient, and long-term data storage and backup of all relevant Bedag workloads. The platform must integrate seamlessly with the selected backup software from Subproject 2 and support features such as deduplication, compression, encryption, immutability/WORM, last-line-of- defense protection, as well as efficient data transfer to secondary and optional air-gapped locations. The solution should be designed as an economically viable scale-out system and meet the requirements for energy efficiency, operating costs, and capacity expansion over the planned lifecycle.
