The contracting authority would like to use this procurement to enter into a framework agreement with several tenderers (parallel agreements) divided between two geographical areas, provided that there are a sufficient number of qualified Vendors. See "Geographical area" for further information. The aim of the agreement is to cover the contracting authority ́s need for excavation and mass transport services, with the accompanying work in connection with reinforcement and improvements to the municipal road network and other road related infrastructure. Assignments in accordance with the contract will mainly apply for: Assignments in this agreement can be diversified, but repair, development and maintenance work for the municipal community area, including i.a. activities for water and sewage (VA), and Milsam, are expected to be the largest users in the contract. Examples of work: • Excavation and transport of matter with the accompanying work as a supplement to the municipality ́s own construction department. • Repair and maintenance work for the municipality ́s water and sewage activities (W&S). • Work on pipeline breaks etc., also for acute needs. Casting work that is naturally included in excavation works that have already been awarded. (e.g. wall edge or repairs of damaged masonry etc.) •Other ongoing work of an associated character, such as blasting, filling work, etc. •Various work for departments in Ålesund municipality. For example Ålesund kommunale eidendom KF, Ålesund fire brigade KF, Ålesundregionens havnevesen, etc. • The list is not exhaustive Comments on the contract: •In particular on assignments connected to Attvin AS, Attvin Produksjon AS and Attvin Næring AS: The contracting authority can use this contract for work in Attvin, but separate special contracts can also be established for assignments. • Specifically for assignments connected to announced competitions: The contract does not include sub-delivery assignments in contracts/works that published in separate tender contests. • Mass transport, blasting services and other services for the municipality ́s own installations: The contracting authority is free to use this contract if needed for the service on its own installations.
